Vore in Media?

Post by key_turner201 »

I've been wanting to see if I can spark any of these discussions, so here we go. My question to the group is: Does anybody have any favourite examples of vore in normal media? (As in vore in anything that wasn't made for vore's sake)

Personally, one of my favourites is 'The Gruffalo'. For anyone that doesn't know, The Gruffalo is a children's book/short film about a mouse in a forest that keeps encountering predators, and to avoid getting eaten, he makes up a monster called the Gruffalo who would eat them if he stumbled upon them when meeting his friend the mouse. After scaring them off, the mouse eventually encountered the monster he made up, who also wants to eat him, but he manages to scare him off by pretending that the predator's fear of the Gruffalo was instead a fear of him, the end.

I watched the film of this a lot as a child, especially when I started developing an interest in vore(though I didn't know that was what it was at the time), and my absolute favourite scene was where the Gruffalo was introduced, that was one of my original vore fantasies of the mouse actually getting eaten, which is why I'll include it here.

So, did anyone else have any examples of media they watched that contained certain scenes they may a have been a bit too into compared to others?

Heh, I know I grew up watching a lot of nature documentaries for the vore scenes, especially that of snakes swallowing things. That's probably where I first got my very first attraction to animals eating each other.

There were way more things when I think about it, but the tipping point was for sure the big scene in Dragonheart, haha. But, also things like the Pagemaster dragon, the Whamon episode of Digimon, and other things I can't remember, haha. There was also one episode of Cardcaptors that had a macro theme that I know I intentionally went looking for more than once back in the day x'D

I would take the one way trip in Edgar the Bug. Also for my crushes, there's Pythor from Ninjago, Savio and Dr. Blowhole from The Penguins of Madagascar cartoon who have vored and teased a lobster henchman about voring respectively.

King Goobot V from the Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius movie eating his pet in his introduction, soooo many Crash Bandicoot deaths, a Mammoth eating Sparx the Dragonfly in Spyro A Hero's Tail. Finding Nemo's eating of Marlin and Dory from Gerald the Pelican, as well as Bruce and his crew just being a group of sharks I wanted to be food for. So many The Land Before Time movie series scenes to the point where most villains of the movies would be proper graves for me. Ben 10 franchise from Classic to Omniverse had plenty of vorish scenes or characters I wanted to be vored by. Like the Frog from Animo, or that big fella from the episode with the marshmallow prince escorting mission, as well as Tetrax Shard mentioning that most aliens love humans as a delicacy, and just the fact that I am a monster and robot enjoyer who would be dinner for most aliens and robots period. Rudy from Ice Age 3 had that amazing gullet scene. Walking with Dinosaurs, as outdated as it is now, made me desperate to be dinner for basically every species, even the ones that weren't possibly big enough to fit me. VenomMyotismon from Digimon, Diaboromon, really most monsterous Champion or higher Digimon I would be dinner for. The Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie destroyed me in terms of how the Tree of Beginning ate the cast, as did the Jirachi Wish Maker's Groudon mimic. I wanted to be dinner for both of these instances badly. And while this was after I was an adult, the Buzzwole scene from the Sun and Moon Anime absolutely solidified even moreso my adoration for Buzzwole as a pred. Cell and Buu and Octopapa and Buyon and Giran and Piccolo and the Shadow Dragons and Eternal Dragons from Dragonball as a kid, Moro from Dragonball Super as an adult. Also there was that dragon from the Buu saga from Dragonball filler that almost ate the Dragonball collection part of the cast that I wanted to be fat on.

Hmmm, there are some things I've seen, but most of them involved me getting angry that they're using vore in such a negative context, "Jiu-Jitsu guys in zero" for example, that seems pisses me off because it just... Makes me angry then... The hell is even my reasoning, it just pisses me off to see it use negatively like that, there are other times but the majority of times that it comes up I just get angry at it rather than aroused like I should

What exactly do you mean by "negative contexts"?

Exclusively evil, the term cannibalism comes to mind, I literally want to kill anyone who compares vore to cannibalism if it's in a derogatory way, people using it as the demonstration of true evil, happens more times than you think

Ah yes, I can understand what you mean. Though in most cases I don't mind vore being used as evil since I like unwilling vore scenarios. But a lot of the time in media where it's just people 'drinking the blood of their enemies' or whatever, I just tune it out since I can't properly link it to vore to a scene if it was just them saying something like that or if it's something like cannibalism where it's just cooking vore -\(._.)/-

I do agree that hearing vore compared to cannibalism, or 'fetishised suicide' is annoying to hear.
