Oh I didn't see this. I started with Generation Ultimate on the Switch. Still my favorite. Thought right now I'm playing some Rise again.

I have Rise and a 3ds MH game (and am playing a fanmade MH Dating sim) but I am not a real MH fan aside from Monster Simping. Because I objectively suuuuucck! And haven't even touched Rise because my mind never went "I wanna play this". But I mean it I would be be food for probably every single monster in any game. Dragon or bird or monkey or rabbit based or whatever.

There is a dating sim? Do you by chance have a link?

Seeing this, i find it fitting the species that I would happen to be. On my end, I happen to be a pretty early on one for monster hunting! I started in MHGU on the switch a few years ago, before going to world, rise, and wilds now. Even being able to play frontiers with a friend at the start of 2024! I'm down to hop back onto it if ever wanting to play some more/need help as that ones painful. But I'm trying to now go back into the older games, namely MH4U as I hear its pretty great. I can say so, but definitely odd going back to it with a weapon you didn't use at all in other games. Especially one as slow as the greatsword, and I mainly play bow and duel blades!
And favorite monsters is too many to list. many I would end up feeding if I personally could, but even though my pfp is a kushala, i just happen to love being one~ My favorite would end up being Zinogre...a fan favorite overrated one...but it was the one I fell in love at first site upon seeing images of them before even knowing what monster hunter was!

Kusha was my first monster crush ;P Still, that's some good hunting history! I have seen lots about Frontier, and it does seem like a dooozy yeah. Lots to do though!
4U is awesome though. I think that fans have also gotten the online for it working again, too! So, happy to help there if you need it and things do work again ^^

The big MH game for me the past couple years was MH2 since Dos got a very good translation and the online revived for it. Got me trying more weapon types, though I still did mostly SnS, haha. I just could never get over the slowness of GS, but it is fun to watch people that are good at it! But, all the weapons in the current MH era are so complex e.e so I stick to mostly bow, but sometimes sns too. I used to main LS from Freedom 2 all the way up until I finished the MSQ in vanilla World, but it's got so many new moves now and my brain is small <<

Kulve Taroth and Mizutsune are my favorite monsters, but MH has so many good ones that I could see myself as, haha.

They can be a bit hard to get into at first, but are certainly very fun if you end up a fan of the gameplay ^^

Same x'D I have more than a bookcase of games that I still need to pick from and actually play. I spend more time collecting and fixing things than I do actually playing games, haha

Hehe ^..^ now i playing Baldur's Gate 3 and trying to finish my papercraft project ^..^
