Re: Favorite Seasons?
I like Winter and Summer the most. I mean I enjoy all seasons, but I like wearing hoodies and I like going outside to hang out in warm/hot weather so technically I love both. Spring is king of pollen for my allergies and fall is rotten apple on my lawn season. I still adore Halloween and Christmas seasons though. I even like Christmas songs. I'll say it. I also hate both Winter and Summer when it's uninhabitable outside for long stretches. Because I love the seasons in moderation in terms of time. But a year is a long time to stretch weather patterns even for my temperate area which has four full -ish seasons instead of one long season with three mini seasons or near the poles being two seasons or in the desert being two seasons.

I am a fan of all seasons. I love the heat and the rain, and the wind and whatnot. I am not a fan of the cold of winter, but the snow makes up for it

Personally I ADORE the fall/Autumn. The beautiful colors of the falling leaves, pumpkin spice and petrichor filling the air, the chilly mornings and the mild afternoons. Halloween! I could go on honestly. But a perfect day for me would be in Autumn having a good book/story, wrapped up in a warm blanket or sweater curled up by a window clouded by newly arrived droplets of a rumbling storm that rolled in and a cup of warm boba tea to sip on.

Re: Favorite Seasons?
Personally I’ve always been more of a winter person then a summer one. But I have to say my favorite season is the Fall. I like it even better then the spring since it’s always such a relief to finally know that the miserable heat of summer is finally ending and the winter is coming. And Winter is such a nicer time for hiking and being outdoors. Although as I age I’ve noticed that I’m getting less and less resistant to cold then I used to be. But that’s my two cents on this.

Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. As for which one I prefer more I would have to say the heart of winter simply for the fact I ADORE the cold. Crisp biting air stinging the lungs, snowy skies seemingly blocking out the world. It's beautiful. I am an individual who naturally runs hot as such the colder it is the more comfortable I am. Not to mention I am no longer atrociously miserable from allergies. XP And while I like the outdoors well enough I am not a fan of yard work. I despise cutting grass, weedwhacking, cutting back hedges and trees, pulling weeds, cleaning out the gutters after every single storm [we get A LOT of storms out my way during the summer]. At least with winter all I need to contend with is snow shoveling and throwing salt down for ice.

Fair fair
I approach it from the direction: when it's cold I can always put more layers on. When it's hot there are only so many layers I can take off before it's inappropriate. XD Unfortunately I am heat sensitive thanks to my previous job resulting in having heat stroke so my tolerance for heat and humidity is null. Thr humidity is the worst part. I hate feeling like my lungs are sweating. XP

Re: Favorite Seasons?
That's honestly sort of my deal, too. Especially with how warm I run naturally. I'm sure years from now that could change, but as I am now I run very warm and the heat is quite unbearable up to a certain point. Problem with winter for me is more a me thing, where I am too stubborn to go to the trouble of putting on the layers I need. But it is easier to do so objectively.Megatron wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 5:25 am Fair fair

Re: Favorite Seasons?
I prefer winter. It's too hot in Texas for me otherwise. The colder the better. Anything above 80 makes me sweat, so below freezing temps are what I look forward too every year, even if our crappy power grid can't handle it. You would think I'm a big dude with how much I love the cold, but I am actually pretty skinny lol
