After many, many years of trying to get an accurate rendition of my personal sleeping chambers, a friendly artist has finally helped me get there!
A centerpiece of a dragon's dwelling, this room is my most comfortable place outside my personal onsen.
Decorated with trinkets of friendships, gifts galore, trophies of indulgence and also noble conquests over cruel despots, this space is a fitting and luxurious one for a dragon's comfort. And, going by the sheer amount of bedding, undeniably scattered with some twinkles of gold, a sapphire sleeps well.
Enormous bowl, claw-inlaid and flame-smoothed into the stone, is this dragon's bed-nest, packed with enough pillows, blankets, and grand tapestries turned simple dragon-bedding, it's a blissful place to indulge draconic laziness, and offer space to fellow dragons and smaller company alike.
Whether lounged on the luxurious bedding, or tucked in the scaly belly lavishing upon the blankets, it's a magnificently comfortable place.
...also explains why I'm a bit of a lazy dragon. Can you blame me? Look at that bed! Perfect. u3u

To what, I wonder, woould have been the source of the bedding? Surely some pelts or leftover softness from certain meals are what lines at least part of your sleeping quarters!

There's a bit of that spread throughout :> But, I collect things for bedding often in my travels! I even have some tailor friends who have fashioned giant dragon-sized quilts out of various fine tapestries from kingdoms who had their cruel rulers vanish for some odd reason and the free peoples wish to change their flags and regalia. But, even the most fine of fabrics is much better purposed as dragon bedding, mrr.~ It is fun when some haughty arsehole scoffs that such fine things are simply my sprawl-fodder, but their guffaws are quieted well under bellyscales and paunch.~FodderForGayBirds wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 3:28 pm To what, I wonder, woould have been the source of the bedding? I'm sure you have had other bird meals to even make pillows of their own from what's left of their feathers, too~Sight wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 3:34 pmThere's a bit of that spread throughout :> But, I collect things for bedding often in my travels! Quite a delightful tidbit to know. Glad my giblets belong to your far superior innards due to more than just calorie content, but also because beaks are something you actively enjoy sending inside you.Sight wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 4:13 pmThere are many that would agree that I have a 'thing' for gryphons(and birbs in general) x)FodderForGayBirds wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 4:11 pm I'm sure you have had other bird meals to even make pillows of their own from what's left of their feathers, too~
