Slimy gullet!

My contribution to the dragon cause~
I've been playing around with the idea of a slime dragon hybrid! Still in the sketching phase of design but this is a sketch I was wanting to share, to highlight what is my favorite aspect of the design so far- a translucent gullet, so others can see prey make their way into its belly.
Something im trying to brainstorm on futher is what will the dragon do with the prey once in its stomach? Been weighing between simple endo, or something more complex like the prey softly being digested into goo before being spat out as a slimey kobold servant- that may or may not retain its memory but still have a strong bond to its new master.

Another drawing to further along my slime dragon, bit more finished than my initial drawing but mostly wanted to see how the colors looked! I'm thinking on shifting more towards an ocean green, both to better capture the aquatic nature of a sea creature and get closer to a classical slime color! I wanted to pull off an ocean-like texture for the gullet but that's a little tricky for me and my colored pencils! xD
