Do you guys have pets?

I used to have cats... but they are all in heaven.
And now I keep two corn snakes. The attachment is one of them.
They are very docile, non-venomous snakes.

I love the way they eat their meals. I mean it is sort of, vore.
Have you ever seen it? If you are curious, give it a try.
(Warning: this video is real and it mainly contains a snake eating a mouse)

One of my friend is also a well-trained reptile keeper
but by accident she got bitten by one of her baby kingsnake,
And it tried to eat her finger. xD She told me how it feels.
Snakes have a lot of saliva in their mouth so she said it was slippery and weird.
(Her finger is now okay, btw)

All my pets have passed on and/or were temporary fosters or were pets of my birth family. Let's see...
First ever pet was an Iguana named Goldie. She passed from pneumonia.
My Aunt's pet (when I lived with her for almost a year) was a Rottweiler named Baer.
My foster family that became my legal guardians (only due to my crappy judge's call... My legal guardian parents wanted to adopt me). I had my most amount of pets there. First and for the longest time was Charlie the black Cocker Spaniel. He was precious like a brother to me and my adoptive brother. I knew him since I was four but he was at the house before me, and he died a week before I turned 17 because we had to put him down from serious tumors around his heart and such. During Charlie's lifetime we had plenty of side pets. I had a Betafish named Franklin who died due to what I assume was a swim bladder issue, a Hamster named Rex who was lost for a long while but then found and out back in his enclosure but he died while chewing a cardboard roll, two Geckos which I forgot the names of the small one which escaped and the big one which got facial tumors, a sea snail shared with a neighbor, and my brother had a Betafish as well as a Tarantula though we gave the tarantula to our next door neighbor because he has many of them and my mom's arachnophobic. And then we took in two fosters that we both Cocker Spaniels, though Bailey was purebred Cocker like Charlie but with white and peach colors and Tinkerbell was a mix between Cocker and maybe Dachshund with reddish brown fur. She was way smaller and way meaner to most people and dogs alike. Bailey was sweet with people but very mean with other dogs. But both of them were fosters from an abusive home so they weren't showered with love originally like Charlie was. But my mom without consent from anyone else in the household sent them to a new foster home. I am not saying she was wrong in seeing problems with them, but I am saying that doing that without warning was very mean spirited. I adored both dogs, and dad adored Tinkerbell. Also not included were the snails we kidnapped from Indiana as children like morons which literally were accidentally stepped on by my mom on the front stoop. Me and my bro bawled for snails that barely were the sizes of our fingernails. Also we had a grasshopper but we didn't let it die and released it when we realized it would die since we had no idea what to do. We also had a Venus flytrap and cactus that both died even if they aren't pets. But idk I think they would have had cute personalities.

Cat caretaker here; housemates rescued her from a gas station as a kitten. She's generally nice, but can be a handful at times.

I've always had cats just not at the moment because of family not wanting another one but some day I hope to get a cat again

I always kind've wanted a dog, but will continue to wait until I'm financially stable enough to take care of another pet.
