Quiet Chat

Very slow burn conversations for those of us with bad schedules, or who aren't a fan of the chat.
I'm always getting on when everyone else is getting off, so here's a place for me and all the other night owls, rare encounters, and shy folk to chat; at our own pace.

I'll see if I can start this up with a easy question. What color dragon is best?

This is actually quite nice since I'm asleep when the forum seems most active, so thanks for this, good doctor.

As for an answer to the question, I have to go with the classics of red or green, they always remind me of fairy tale 'taken over a castle' dragons that I always love.

I personally default to black, and I wonder if Heroes Of Might and Magic II is the reason why.
It was an old strategy game I played growing up, dragons came in three colors and black was the biggest.

Heroes was my childhood! But I loved the Wyrms in Might and Magic 6: Mandate of Heaven (More an RPG than a Hex Stratagy).

I know OF the original M&M series but I never actually played it. I know Sandro and Craig are both from the original series at least.
I was a necromancer player, so I got crappy bone dragons instead of the super cool living dragons

Broooo, bone dragons are SUPER cool. I think it was Heroes 3 where they introduced the more superior Ghost Dragons. Maybe not vore material, but a dragon that has potential threat after death is an, at the very least, interesting concept!

They were okay, just didnt shine much when compared to the vampire they had, and didnt stand up to real dragons. I played a small bit of three much later, just to try it, and if I remember the big bone dragon there had a morale debuff which was very nice
Still tho, a dragon that cant eat someone is a sorry thing

Unless youre into soul vore! Also could make up a story where bone dragons are the result of one of the other dragons being digested =p

that does raise some questions. Would a necromancer approve of that? I think they need those dont they. Also, the bone dragon was in a particularly odd spot, they were hired from a "laboratory" if I remember correctly, and you needed mercury for it, though I dont remember if that was just to make the building or if you needed that to hire the dragon itself, but either way, I got the impression that they were not exactly undead in the traditionally way. I sort of assumed they were something more akin to a golem, cobbled together parts of the fallen, possibly not even originally a dragon

Honestly, even if Bone dragons don't have organs they should have ectoplasmic structures if you bend the rules a bit. Ecto bellies exist for some skeleton characters. Either as permanent magical biology or turned on and off when needed. I know it's maybe not if the game works though so it's probably unfortunate if the players aren't vorny aside from you.
