Sona in a fictional series or movie

If you had the chance to have your fursona show up in a work of fiction, how would you like them to make an appearance and in what way? (If at all)

Hmmmm. Derry would be in in the movie "Nobody" with Bob Odenkirk, but hed be one of the guys in the bus scene that thinks he's a big tough ladies man only to be humbled intantly and eat a heaping plate of overcooked karma.

Ideally, Izana would be in a series unique to him (and other characters If I ever come uo with them) but if it's a canon show the best thing he fits into nowadays is Avatar the Last Airbender, but it's an imperfect fit.

one of the reasons coming up with something original for him is I often teeter the line of Depression with him, and would want to reflect it honestly but in a way that doesn't make him hated, As that's something I've dealt with for a LONG time myself, But a lot of the reactions I see from other characters in media that have mental health issues is them getting single-handedly dismissed, "Oh I'm about over them already" kinda deal, So I hesitate, Seccond guess, And decide against it constantly. Kinda a vicious cycle. xD

This was too fun sounding of a question not to answer. So if there’s one scenario related to a popular series I would love to see my characters get to interact with, it would probably look something like this . . .

The magic winds conjured by the demon Tharrazzagroth hit Zankeela and his companions with the force of a waterfall. Somehow Zankeela managed to remain standing while barely keeping hold of the large ancient leatherbound spellbook he had been reciting dark and powerful incantations from. Beside him, Faetherleena the green scaled faerie dragon became so terrified by the presence of such powerful evil that she involuntarily shrunk herself down in size to no bigger then a sparrow and dove into one of Zankeela’s coat pockets to hide. His friend Jhoris the anthro-bodied grey-furred borzoi wasn’t doing much better as his hands were shaking so badly he could barely hold his camcorder steady as he attempted to record the situation. Tharrazzagroth was laughing in his thunderous cruel voice.

“Pitiful mortals, thy pathetically childish attempts at banishing spells hold no meaning to me. Lo prepare thyselves as thee will all fall before my will.”

In spite of the demon’s threats Zankeela managed to continue the incantations from his book, his voice, although shouted at the top of his lungs barely heard over the din of the demon’s winds. But then a new sound was heard in addition to that. It was a raw rasping sound not unlike that of someone scraping a metal key up and down a heavy bass string of a piano. The rasping sound grew steadily louder and more pronounced until it even attracted the attention of the demon. Then Tharrazzagorth stopped his attack, his winds dropping as he pointed at something behind Zankeela and his friends.

“What is this new spell of summoning thou hast cast sorcerer?”

Noting where the demon was looking Jhoris glanced over his shoulder and the next moment was jostling Zankeela’s shoulder trying to get him to look. Zankeela was of course loathe to cease his spellcasting but when he did turn and look behind him his mouth dropped open and he almost dropped his spellbook. For in the corridor not far from where they stood a rather tall blue police call box was materializing out of thin air. When it was fully solid the strange rasping sound ceased, and a moment later a tall human opened the doors and stepped outside. The man had curly hair and wore a large wide-brimmed hat and a long flock coat, but the most striking feature was the colorful scarf he wore that hung loosely about his neck and still was long enough to just about reach the ground on either side of him. Without hesitation the man strode up to where Zankeela and his friends stood and announced;

“Hello there, I’m the Doctor.”


“Doctor?” Jhoris asked sounding befuddled. “Doctor Who?”


“Close enough.” The Doctor responded. Then when he took note of the huge and terrible demon standing in the opposite side of the room, the Doctor raised a hand and waved in greeting.”


“Oh hi there.” he said in a relaxed cheery voice. Then to Zankeela and friends he asked; “Well I hope I’m not interrupting anything important here, but could any of you tell me if this is the planet Athopheus? And if is, could you please direct me to the headquarters or palace of the Grand Prefact. I really need to speak with him. It’s actually rather urgent at that.”


“Actually . . . I believe we refer to our world as Earth.” Jhoris ventured.


“Earth?” The Doctor replied sounding a bit surprised. “And yet you’re anthropomorphic animals?” Then the Doctor slapped his forehead. “Oh of course, I must have forgotten to reset the Trans-Quantum Re-Stabilization circuit. Which of course threw off the temporal alignment of the Void Vortex which resulted in my Tardis emerging into a totally different causality then I had intended.”


The Doctor then snapped his fingers and with a large smile towards Zankeela and friends and even the demon waved his farewells. “Oh well, no harm done I do hope. So whatever you all were up to when I arrived, do carry on.”


With that the Doctor returned to his Tardis and a moment later the same weird rasping sound was heard as the blue police call box faded from sight.


As it disappeared it was Tharrazzagroth who was the first to speak;


“What . . .the hell was that?” He asked sounding unusually perplexed and confused for a major demon.


From Zankeela’s coat pocket Faetherleena had poked her head up looking around to see what was going on. When she looked up at Zankeela she chuckled.


“Zan dear, you can close your mouth now.”

Zankeela finally shut his mouth, then gave his shaggy head a good shaking out before turning back to face his demonic opponent.

“Okay right! Now, where were we?”

I would heavily lean into being part of something brand new and unique rather than in an existing piece of media.
The desire would be either something like a long game series where dragons get to be active and protagonistic/positive characters. Anything from something fun and slice-of-lifey like a Stardew or Animal Crossing-style game, to an MMO with a long-running and expansive story that takes myself and others on a fun and immersive adventure. Any avenue to be able to be myself in an expansive world would be divine.

If a movie, book/manga, or show, I'd still go with wanting myself to be a positive,if inherently flawed character. But, someone with power who uses it to help others. I love being the big, scary dragon who is actually kind and friendly ^^;

Depending on my sona there's a ton of ways I could do this. My main owl nsfw sona though would probably be an NPC that gets eaten. But for an actual role, my sfw Sona might be a good Rivals of Aether pick. Able to use lighting with a long tongue and maybe being a pick for a hybrid animal that may not be common in the universe. Or making him a pure Bali Bird of Paradise which he is mostly visually resembling. Thunderous kicks, spinning his tail to make clouds that increase airtime or drop as plasma orbs similar to the desktop toy except they explode. I mean Absa already existed but he's not too different. I guess instead of clouds he can mainly have his lightning and thunder kicks be an airdrop attack that leads to more combos? Idk.
