Songs that made me who I am

Post by DumaraWhiteBelly »

As I've stated in my introduction post, I've been through a few rough patches in life. I will not go in detail here (at the moment).
But through it all, music has been one of the best ways I can cope with my dark past. Here are a few songs that I've used to help me through everything, whether they help me reflect or push forward.
This will not cover all songs, however. I cannot come up with EVERY single song. But this should give you an idea.

Reflection Period

We're gonna start with the songs that I used to reflect on myself and my past actions.
  1. Blood And Fire - Indigo Girls
  2. Ghost - Indigo Girls
  3. Stranger - Angus & Julia Stone
  4. Alter Ego - Tame Impala (he's been a big one in my life, really)
Pushing Forward

After a bit, when I finally opened up to being a voraphile in my brain... I found out I'm not gonna apologize for it.
These songs have seriously kickstarted me into joining this community for real after idling and lurking in the shadows for 5 years.
  1. Cold as Ice - Blacklite District (thanks Shock for pointing them out, good band)
  2. Vaultage 004 - Space Laces (good album, really insane mixing)
  3. Never Surrender - Sub Zero Project (they've done a ton too)
  4. Transmutation Sequence - SVDDEN DEATH
  5. Honorable mention to Subtronics for also making insane music to get me ahead
---

All of these songs (and definitely more) were part of what made me who I am. I hope this is a good post after my introduction one,
I'm very willing to open up even further here if allowed to. Thanks you guys for accepting me into this community.

And remember, stay safe out there. No matter where you are. Whether you're exploring the world or someone's gut. Haha.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A FULL LIST OF MUSIC I LIKE, I'M VERY ECLETIC.
