But through it all, music has been one of the best ways I can cope with my dark past. Here are a few songs that I've used to help me through everything, whether they help me reflect or push forward.
This will not cover all songs, however. I cannot come up with EVERY single song. But this should give you an idea.
Reflection Period
We're gonna start with the songs that I used to reflect on myself and my past actions.
- Blood And Fire - Indigo Girls
- Ghost - Indigo Girls
- Stranger - Angus & Julia Stone
- Alter Ego - Tame Impala (he's been a big one in my life, really)
After a bit, when I finally opened up to being a voraphile in my brain... I found out I'm not gonna apologize for it.
These songs have seriously kickstarted me into joining this community for real after idling and lurking in the shadows for 5 years.
- Cold as Ice - Blacklite District (thanks Shock for pointing them out, good band)
- Vaultage 004 - Space Laces (good album, really insane mixing)
- Never Surrender - Sub Zero Project (they've done a ton too)
- Transmutation Sequence - SVDDEN DEATH
- Honorable mention to Subtronics for also making insane music to get me ahead
All of these songs (and definitely more) were part of what made me who I am. I hope this is a good post after my introduction one,
